Juan Peña is one of the most famous producers in Latin America, and his farm, La Papaya, houses an impressive and extensive production operation. La Papaya’s agronomic and quality advancements include an on-site variety nursery, an extensive irrigation network, and its own dry mill and exporting wing. Sidra is one of our favorite cup profiles in coffee — another variety with traces of Ethiopian landrace genetics that can produce exceptional quality. This particular lot presents an understated but concentrated fruit profile of floral citrus and melon with a silky mouthfeel and clean lingering sweetness.
